Would you say that tradesmen look down on college students (even with valuable degrees like STEM degrees) as much as vice versa?

I'm no fan of college students who look their noses down on blue-collar workers but some blue-collar workers aren't innocent of doing the same to the white-collar workers and college students in my personal experience.

Granted, college has become more of a joke these days with what's being taught and the type of degrees they have and trades/blue-collar workers are needed in the world but it doesn't really help the blue-collar workers to shit on people who decided to study in college to become a doctor or engineer.

I wouldn’t say they look down on them at all. I think they just hate the overall idea of college and as someone that has been in college, I totally understand their point of views

Honestly, I dislike school in general but have only gone to college strictly for workplace connections and to have a CS degree to make it easier for me to get my foot in the CS work field door. Nothing more.

I think that some do. I know a lot of people in the trades and some like to make fun of guys that went to college that cannot hammer in a nail straight.
