Have you ever had a really bad dream to make you cry when you woke up?

I had a really bad dream last night that woke me up and made me cry. I was back in high school and being bullied.

I've never been bullied before in high school so it was a new experience for me being bullied while in high school. I've been bullied in middle school but it never made me cry.

I think my job is getting to me is the meaning of the dream because my coworkers are like high schoolers and they gossip about me all the time for being quiet and shy and it's starting to hurt. I know I shouldn't care what they think of me but I do.

Yes your subconscious is taking over while you sleep. Might tell your manager about the gossip. If he/she won't do anything, take it to their manager and so on.

The problem is my manager's manager is part of the gossipers. My manager is the one to report back to me on what has been said about me. But I guess I will have to go to HR if it keeps happening. Thanks.

You're doing what you're supposed to. Following that chain of command. If manager can't do and their manager won't and is/part of problem, then go next level.
HR is your next stop.

Yes I woke up with tears in my eyes from a dream because it was a very real dream of my dad. I miss him so much 💔😢😞

Yes I was often having such kind of scary dreams I used to shout even in dreams or found myself crying in real after waking up. During those days i was mentally very much disturbed also was watching crime shows a lot.

I don't think I have ever had a bad dream that made me cry. If I woke up crying, it was always an amazing dream that I don't want to wake up from, especially if it features people or pets who I miss a lot, but will never see again either due to death or relationship breakdown.
