Ever had a dream that made you cry?

My birthday is today and I had a dream that all my loved ones that passed away threw me a birthday party. My dogs that passed away were there too. I woke up crying because it felt so real. Uncles, aunts, godmother, family and friends. In the dream I was telling my mom "The dead have risen!" That is how real it felt. I never expected to see all those people there celebrating my birthday and I woke up sobbing. I felt so loved and remembered.

It was a Dream, I was 45 , I was rushing to see my family home, travelled Pretty long distance.

Spent a hard working life, then I reach home I get greeted by kids, and eventually my wife shows up, and her face is the face of My first and most deep crush.

She is looking perfect and we are aging gracefully, my daughter 12 leaves to pay outside with a dog..

My two Sons 18-20 are Playing catch in front yard..

And I say to myself, "All my hard work is worth it".

Sadly it will all never come true..

After waking up, I couldn't go to sleep. I drank like 1 liter of water and went upstairs to the roof, walked for a few minutes and sat and cried in the dark at 3 am at night, for 20 minutes..

Then went back to normal..

Absolutely but what I feel like is there is a lot of unprocessed trauma inside maybe you haven’t properly grieved the loss of family as well as pets. So it’s manifesting in your dreams that you haven’t finished grieving now it’s hard it will always be hard. Many people never truly get over things they just simply learn how to manage it.

yes, but i can't remember them. i've also had some dreams that made me laugh so hard that i woke up. unfortunately, i forgot those too.
