Bottom Line... throughout adolescent its scientific that female brains develop faster than a man's brain. Because women basically reach their full physical development by the age of 16 to 18 and all those pathways in the female brain are reorganized to promote mental and emotional growth. So women achieve full physical and mental and emotional growth by their mid to late 20's.

Whereas a mans does not reach he full physical mature until 22 to 24 years old. Because on average men have 60% to 75% more muscle structure than women, so their brains have to maintain those pathways for muscular development longer, and then they do not reach full mental and emotional growth until they early 30's.

So, on average studies suggest that women, are on average 5 to 7 years more mentally mature and emotionally developed on average to their male counterparts... and that does not start to even out until some point into their 30's.

So, you need to understand that, before you can truly understand why men are falling behind in education. Because the truth is they are not, men are holding even at exactly the same levels that they have always help.

But in the 20 years, everything has been geared toward empowering women. Seeking new opportunities for women. And the entire educational system puts adolescent males at a disadvantage.. because academics that require long hours of study, and hours of sitting in lecture halls... it's all geared toward people with higher emotional and mental devolvement... and by the time most men are old enough develop those skills... they are too old for school.

Young males are developing at physical rate that out paces women, but women are developing at a mental rate that men cannot keep up with. So, boys need more physical activities, that drives social interactions and growth... but they do not get that sitting in a classroom for 8 hours a day... boys need more hands on, and physical activities. But those things do not earn them any academic achievements.

But once men get into their 30's they can do anything a woman can do, and physically they do a lot more on a higher level... but by that time they are outside their school age years for academic achievement.

For guys in college or highschool that do out achieve women, the bonus is they doing without even reaching a level of physical or mental development that is equal to a woman... whereas she has already achieved her maximum mental and physical development years ahead of him.

@DarkWinterNights I would say "lagging behing" is a better term. But with all the redpill nonsense luring young men into a world where they blame women for everything instead of improving their lives like a normal person, it's not too surprising.

They have a lot more options. And with too many people going to college these days, those other options are becoming more and more appealing because the pay is skyrocketing due to shortages.

Plus, formal education is not the only kind of education. Most trades for example have on the job training which can take years to master. I remember a friend going through a formal apprenticeship as an electrician. He had more text books than most college students. He was expected to learn that stuff in the evening after a long day at work.

You also need to look at WHAT people are studying in college these days. The increase is not in STEM majors, but in a lot of "soft" majors. In the US, the only STEM major that's had an increase is biology. All other STEM majors have decreased as a percentage of students. The increase has been in soft majors, some of which are not worth much.

We are approaching 70% of the population getting at least some college. This dilutes the value of college, and shows that intelligence is no longer needed.

a lot of men go into fields that don't require college education and to be completely honest college the majority of college degree's women obtain are useless degree's where as the majority of college degree's obtain are useful. why? because men who do go to college are more likely to pick useful fields like stem, and medicine. so college is a fairly silly statistic to focus when you consider that on average the boys/men will be obtaining far more useful degrees. plus all the men who go into fields that don't require a college education also come out with far more useful skills. brick laying, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, building roads, sky scrapers, cars, trains, boats literally every single thing society relies on to function was designed and built almost exclusively by men. also as a man who went to college and got a doctorate and 2 bachelors degree's the vast majority of things learned in elementary, middle and high school is useless information. 12 years learning largely the same thing year after year. I could have finished all 12 years worth of school in 4-6 years and been going to college far sooner. education is all well and good but only if that education turns into something useful. and there aren't many of those

There is a vast literature that shows how male students are discriminated against since the first grade, i. e., they obtain lower grades than their female counterparts for the same performance. Throughout the literature on grading discrimination in Western contexts, females obtain systematically higher grades or better ratings than males from their teachers, which clashes with standardised test results (for a review of the literature, please refer to Zanga & DeGioannis 2023).
Some talk about neurodevelopmental differences, thinking that it starts with puberty, when the male body has to grow more than the female one, and therefore the brain is measured differently. However, the evidence shows that discrimination is always present in the early years of school, as can be seen in the contributions of Cornwell et al. (2013).
Obtaining low grades creates mechanisms for the collapse of self-esteem in the school environment; in fact, under-represented groups are strongly penalised from the point of view of grades. Males in primary and secondary education are strongly underrepresented, especially in the teaching staff, which is completely feminised.

De facto, we have that education selects males and the labour market selects females.

As a guy who has spent a lot of time in college, grad school, and a shit ton of corporate and technical training, I can say college doesn't have much to offer young men.

Why pay a huge sum only to be told you are toxic, worthless, dangerous, and a threat to society?

I would tell a young man today to get a trade FIRST, then think about college.

Also, college used to be a way to meet your wife, but now the average college girl has TWELVE sexual partners just through four years of college alone. College girls are badly run through, often alcoholic, and mentally damaged from feminism. Who needs that?

A university education is not worth the 100k you spend on it. Honestly, if you want to go into a career like marketing, you can learn more on Youtube for free. You'll learn enough to open your own agency and won't have to unlearn the dated practices taught in college/university. A college degree in a lot of cases is a bad investment and more men are realizing this. I have a construction company and we hire carpenter apprentices of high school and when they are 22 they have no debt and are making 75k. By 30-35, if they are smart, they are project managers off the tools making over 100k and never paid a dime for any schooling.

As someone who spends much of his free time studying, I've always felt that most women tend to fall behind much more than most men do, at least in anything science related.

Female science scholars are much rarer than male ones unfortunately.
Mainly do to lack of interest early in life causing the skills to not develop from what I can see.

Perhaps women are ahead in the middle ground, with the "smart" wife dumb blue collar husband tv trope style of living, but at the top of the intellectual pyramid, it's mostly guys.

Exceptions definitely exist mind you, but the fact that they are exceptions is the point.

Examples of what i mean, if you look at intellectual careers, physics, astronomy, chemistry, technology, manufacturing, coding, paleontology, engineering, inventing, scientific art, etc. These are all very male dominated.

Men aren't falling behind in actual degrees that matter. Education institutions are just pumping out a bunch of garbage diplomas for useless things in order to turn a profit. Women often study useless fields such as liberal arts, humanities, psychology, etc. while they are trying to find a guy to marry. Where as men are taking on 70% of the STEM field.

Education has been taken over by misandrist feminists who are designing it for women. Also men are realizing that college has become a scam. Why would someone want to go into tens of thousands of non-dischargeable debt just so they get told they are bad for having a penis and get a useless degree?

Well there are hundreds of thousands of scholarships specifically for women. There are 0 specifically for men. There are quotas for women but none for men. And also college is become less and less important these days. Work experience tends to go a hell of a lot further than a degree nowadays.

Falling behind? I got my BA/Honours in Political Science & economics, got a certificate in Public Policy, got into law schools and pursuing my Masters. I have studied in depth on topics such as history, religion, sports, arts, psychology of both men and women. I don't think I fell behind in education. I will gladly debate a feminist with her warped views and put her in her place lol.

It is not so much that they are falling behind, it is because more women than ever elect to go to college.

Women have affirmative action programs and gender quotas.

Back in the metoo days false alegations were rampant.

Why the fuck would any guy subject himself to that

Because the public education system has become extremely gynocentric over the last few decades. Public schools fail our boys and young men every day and set them up for a lifetime of failure.

The faculty of intelligence, that is, the faculty of engineering is still dominated by men, medicine is dominated by women, but by a small margin. So men are still superior.
