Normally women outperform men in education and most jobs. Who does better in your company?

The only woman in my company currently is the CEOs wife. Unfortunately, we often see mistakes, oversights, and forgotten tasks stemming from incomplete or non-existent procedures. Frankly, most of the stability fostered in her department stems from systems we've build and implemented in ours.
It wasn't always like this, though. We've had female marketing-heads, operations staff, and even support personnel. Some of them were more-organized and effective than many of the men on staff. That stated, it's not altogether common for this to be the case. 90% of our applicants are men, so already there is a smaller pool to select from. The last woman we had on my team notably left after posting a rage-quit rant on facebook about not knowing how to complete a task, but also, not wanting to depend on men to help her with the day-to-day.
I've thought about this topic in general for some-time. My opinions are my own, and may be right or wrong, but, are informed by this sentiment: Men are largely valued by the wealth they can retain, the quality of their labor, and the positive differential between them and their peers. Men who lack these defining traits are typically disparaged, other redeeming qualities be damned.
Inversely, as every group from MRA's to Feminists proclaim, women are inherently valuable. This disproportionate valuation demands little of women, but a great deal of men, and that's going to change the behavior of each. Someone who must accomplish something to be considered a human being is more-likely to excel. While not exactly a mortal imperative, it is comparable. On the other hand, someone who is already valued, because they exist, doesn't have the near-mortal imperative to accomplish themselves. They may choose to, but that just makes them more valuable than they already were.
Women have the freedom to succeed or fail by their own regard, but will inevitably have a glass floor to stand on. Men who fail will fall straight through, however, and in doing so are reviled in kind.
I hate to say it but on every job I've had the men have always performed better than the women, even if you had 1 or 2 lazy dudes, the general populus of male employees always did better than the women.
Most times the women complained about stuff, not wanting to work, or got ahead or got better pay than the guys for doing much less work. And many times they would use taking care of their kids as a reason to call out, just for you to find out later they were partying, hooked up with some guy, or got their hair and nails done.
In my corporate, we have a women CEO whose good at her job. She's mainly surrounded by men who are also good at their jobs.
I do think the few women who are in higher leadership positions work harder than the average of their male counterparts, all while asking for fewer allowances.
I think more men are closer with each other and can more confidently lean into the 'hey, I don't really need to do this corporate bs right?' Whereas as some women are more likely to take everything seriously because they have this idea that overperformance is the standard.
Women by far..
I take care of a kid with special needs so my title is personal assistent but im basically a nanny. And women tend to do better with younger kids:)
women work better with people so that suits them better.
Agree:)

I only said undecided because they both try. But for real I think men get more done faster... with less talking and complaining. Like we know who is going to need help just doing something like taking the trash out. Shit... I think dudes even do the dishes better. Women excel at social work... but have you ever watched chicks try to put something together like a desk, or a chair?

I have, and I had to fix it for them.
Can't compare in my company since its a small business, the only female does administrative tasks all the men do IT work.
Finding female IT engineers on the same level as the best men is basically impossible. Finding a female IT engineer in general will already be difficult so much so that its usually 30 men for 1 women and the women won't have the kind of hobbyist experience the best men do.
So in my last job there were 2 women on the department without prior experience, they were great at facing customers and solving basic tasks we could teach them. They were not good at being innovative in their solutions so they could not solve anything new.
In my work place, women tend to do better. With the rare exception of being harassed by a male customer (happens very rarely but can happen) women here stay focused on work and men (even ones that are married) are seen looking at female customers and us ladies on staff.
what job is it
Retail, not going into details but it is a department store chain.
are you the same guy before who said about woman was better and men was supposed to stay at homecook and clean?
anyway it is still a stupid notion, gave up son you are embrassing all mankind with this stupid claims just go and be a woman then at least you won't be a disgrace for mans.
It's pretty even and really depends on the task and the day. Everyone's good at particular things, and things don't go nearly as well if someone's asked to do a task to cover for someone else if they aren't available. If we suddenly took out the men or the women it would crash and burn.
Women are better with dealing with customers and certainly more approachable in our line of business.
I have worked in schools for over 13 years and men constantly out perform women. Behavior management, test scores, emotional happiness of the students, less bullying, all have been accomplished better by men.
On the work floor our girls are better - in results, as well as in 'discipline'.
In the office it's the men;
in the technical office sections the ladies are competent enough, though,
where in the ''chicken farm'' office (HR, and financials) food, toilet attendance and gossip are the prevalent ''strengths''.
Where a few 'men' in kind of leading (mid, and on-site) positions are hopeless.
Where I work we have an equal amount of men and women. Profesionally wise, there is no real difference. But when it comes to "unprofessional" behaviour i would say that men, at my workplace, bring all the toxicity and drama.
Everyone does their share, there's no one that does it better 😭 I have a female manager, male assistant manager, and the rest just perform their duties. No one's better here
In Europe, it's fortunately forbidden to make such comparisons based on gender
There certain careers that are only desing forbmen and woman. Woma should focus abd work on woman duties like clothings and kids stuff. It is a sin and a woman ca go to hell for working at a construction company.
Its says men are the head of the household woman are the ones in charged of raising their children to become good citizens.
What? I’m sorry, I don’t remember ever seeing that. And besides, there are many types of jobs in any company. And by the way, the dark ages wants it’s sexist thinking back.
Men by a distance. I've never seen so much small minded petty bickering, back stabbing, gossiping and office politicking as watching the ladies in my company "working".
The girls all go home exactly at 5 whilst guys stay back till problems are fixed
Just asking that question in your company will get you an invitation to visit HR.
Not to totally disagree with your opinion that women perform better at most jobs, but how are you coming to that conclusion? I think that would be hard to support.
I posed this question to my wife over drinks and she made an interesting observation in her workplace:
The most successful women there are seemingly unfulfilled and almost overly dedicated to the job. Whereas there are more men with a healthier work/life balance. Mind you, she’s in a male dominated field (about 70% male) so maybe that’s a factor.
I don't know how you really can answer this without some type of HR stat given to you by your company which I'm not even sure how they measure this unless it's a pure sales numbers job. Without something like that it's just anecdotal.
I meant this more specifically to the company I work for.
Really depends on the type of company honestly.. I don't either or do better than the other when put in the right circumstances..
I have a life so I don't sit around analyzing everyone at a company. Hell, I don't even know who half these people are. Go to work, mind ur business, get paid and go home
The person most qualified. My office manager is female, and is the only person besides me with a key to my office. My highest paid tech is male because he makes the most for me.
I work in a bar and sometimes as a massage therapist and women make significantly more in both places.
All the top-level people are men.
Men, but I'm in physical labor job
Oddly enough, men.
Er, women I mean.
Definitely men.
Both equally
