Cam my old job me at me for moving on?

So I was at my old job for 4 weeks without any explanation they took me off the schedule for a week, so I started working somewhere else. The old job now put me back on the schedule after 6 days of not having me work and is mad I can't work morning anymore. What should I say to them? I just said I assumed I was fired since you took me off the schedule

Damn dude, that's super sketchy of them to take you off with no warning and then get mad you found other work. Here's what I would say to them:

"Look, when you guys took me off the schedule for a whole week without any explanation, I had to assume my hours were cut or something was up. I had bills to pay so I went out and found another job that could give me more hours in the mornings. You can't just bench me randomly and expect me to be available whenever you feel like adding me back. That's not cool.

I gave this job four weeks and they didn't communicate properly when something changed. I gotta do what's best for me and my situation. I'm sorry it didn't work out, but I can't just drop my new schedule that I committed to. You guys should have let me know what was going on if you still wanted me here. That's not on me."

Keep it polite but firm. They put you in a tough spot so don't feel bad. Gotta take care of yourself first. Hopefully they understand, but if not, their loss bro. You got other options now anyway.

Start a paper trail like this first incident
You can report to labor dept if they try other slick things
Like example they took you off the schedule I would have applied for unemployment lol don’t let them know you are smart to the end also breaks are you getting them what state is this and r u getting min wage etc I had to complain to many jobs thst tried to be slick and I won😉
