Post interview anxiety?

I had an internal interview on Tuesday for a position that the hiring manager urged me to apply for given my qualifications and relevant experience for the role. I was really nervous throughout the interview and it wasn’t my best performance, however on paper I am more than qualified. I was gutted I didn’t say a lot more once the interview was over and I felt like they probed me quite a bit in the process. She said she would contact me within a week to let me know the outcome. I know it hasn’t been a week yet but is no news good news in this scenario? Or would they have contacted me already if it was a yes given that this is an internal role?

It’s the weekend, stop worrying. An interviewer should be able to distinguish between nervous and unqualified, and having the skill set is all that matters. If the position is meant for you then you will get that call, but worrying about it won’t make the answer come any faster.
