Have you ever heard of high status workers that suddenly shift jobs?

I heard a lot of stories like that online. People who quit banking to go into medicine cause they decide that pure money is not enough to make them happy. I’ve seen people work hard to succeed and when they get effortless money after rising to management, they quit to start a business cause the challenge is over. I’ve heard of people quitting STEM teaching jobs to work new careers that are more interesting but pay less than 20% what they used to make, it could also be they decided to be full time moms. One odd thing I find about pastors who claim God told them to go into ministry is that 100% or th left jobs that paid more to become pastors. Not a single none of them became pastors because they were desperate for money or because they believed being a pastor would pay more than their previous job.

I make grammar and spelling errors cause my diet pills affect my sleep and wake cycle. I have not slept properly since I started taking it for weight loss.

I have heard of people that had very high paying jobs that all of a sudden decided they wanted to run a bed and breakfast in ski country. Or a bank president that all of a sudden decide to start a podcast. Usually they do not really have to make a living at the new career. It is more like a hobby.

Yes heard it lot of times. My collegue was a high ranking manager and switched to animal care in zoo because she preferred animals to people

Usually it's because they're about to be sacked for incompetence or they've banged their secretary.
