I seem to have the ability to rapidly absorb info in ways that allowed me to excel in school, but it's very surface level. Acquiring deep mastery over any subject tends to take me a long time and probably even longer than people who take a bit longer initially to warm into a subject.
One thing is that I learned how to read without much in the way of sub-vocalization which allows me to read a whole lot faster than I can read out loud. That tended to help me a lot in school to be able to go through textbooks extremely fast.
There are also certain things that I'm disastrously bad at learning. For example, I am horrible at any sport that requires finesse. Even though I used to practice all the time after school, I try to shoot a basketball in a game and I tend to miss the entire backboard. 😂 If it only requires power, I can do well like sprinting and long jump, but anything that requires careful finesse and aim is something I am so awful at.
One thing in my case is that I learned to read and write in English long before I learned how to speak it. I think that's why I can read so fast without much sub-vocalization. I actually learned how to read and write words I didn't even know how to pronounce. I think that was one of my main advantages in school that allowed me to learn a bit quicker than usual although it came with the disadvantage of not knowing how to pronounce many words out loud.
Teaching myself coding/programming 2 weeks in done with intermediate videos and going to take a class soon so I can get the paperwork for it. Will be my 12th field. 1 doctorate, 1 masters, 1 bachelors. A certification in first aid, welding, woodland survival, masters certification in diving, a life guard certification, survival rescue, underwater welding certification, and master carpentry. Though I also know masonry, plumbing, electrical, forestry and several languages. I also have licenses for several things including class 1 chemicals, biohazardous handling materials. And i have fairly high level clearance with 5 government agencies.
I learn pretty quickly I'm always helping my brother and sister with homework.
Thanks 😊

Well, I don’t like to brag but I will! I can learn pretty quick, some might even say I’m among the most intelligent people in the world. Maybe I’m the one that says that but I trust my opinion!
I'd say maybe I learn things normally or maybe a bit more slowly than others. But I prefer to learn slowly. It allows for a greater attention to detail in my opinion.
Depends on what it is but typically I'm more of a hands on learn by experience kind of guy if I do that for a decent amount of time then it becomes like second nature to me.
Is that the same sister that looked like she was ready suplex years into the shadow realm.. Uh oh better get on it.. LOL..

Oh... Whew.. I was scared for you for a minute, praying and hoping that you finally got it together before TiaNour become TiaNomore.. Lmao..
I have learnt that an enthusiasm for a subject and feeling happy generally makes it a lot easier compared to not liking a subject and feeling unhappy.
So I deliberately build an enthusiasm and seek a happy mindset when learning.
I think I'm not a very quick learnerbut if someone tells the logics behind anything then I learn things quickly
I'm generally a very quick learner and always have been.
Unless someone can physically show me how it's done, yeah... but in class or something, hell nah
yes if you are smart and want to learn then it is very easy
I think it would depends on the subject matter and how complicated it is. But yes, usually.
It depends, learning how to operate a machine, yes, learning how to repair something, no problem, book learning stuff, nope not at all.
I thought I was good like that until I tried learning Guitar at the age of 50.
Lmao that's cute
you're cute...
@NathanDavis you too
I'm definitely not a flirt...
@7Phoenix7 ain’t no way
@NathanDavis the natebate always wins
I got no idea how to flirt... I'm just myself
lmao...
I usually learn better by practicing or doing things repeatedly.
if im interested in something yes very fast learner, if im not interested in it i learn by repetition. do something enough, you will learn anything. my trick
Generally but more so with practical handwork such as building or designing aha
I think so. Or at least half ass enough to get the job done. Works for NASA.
awesome work though...
DEFINITELY A SLOW LEARNER
Depends what it is I guess lol
Indeed, nice cat tho lmao
I was once not anymore😒
tia i made my new instagram
Yes, no sweat.
so you do comp sci? the kat is nice
I’m a quick study
Yes, it’s one of the perks of being highly intelligent.
depends on what I am learning if its easy or hard
Usually if I'm doing it hands on
Someone can explain something to me 20 times, in great detail, but I won't get it until I'm physically doing it.
Fuck no, I’m stupid
You can’t feel stupid, only see it. I see stupid every morning in the mirror. 😟
Yeah
Yep.
Yes I can
Depends what is it
