What are some things that you’ve done in an interview that have been successful?

I have an interview Friday and would love to hear some things that helped get you the job

I know I’m late but for the future, the one thing that you should always do in interviews is ask questions at the end. Literally, the only question you have to ask is “who would be the perfect person for the role” and let them talk. Too many people either don’t ask questions at the end or ask the wrong questions. You can also ask this to find out if they’re interested in hiring you. When the interviewer concludes and you ask this, if they are interested, they will say how the person they want for the role has the qualities that you said you have during the interview.

Another good question to ask at the end is “what’s the most interesting part about the job” it gets them talking and engaged. If I can give any advice to anyone applying for a job, always ask questions at the end that will make them remember you, because believe it or not, most people don’t.

Be honest, respectful and confident. Try to relax. Cover tattoos. Unless you are interviewing for a tattoo parlor. Be prepared to answer questions about your past work experiences. Do not criticize any previous employers. Dress appropriately for your perspective position. Good luck!

Smile, but naturally.

Be polite.

Don't sit until you are offered a seat.

Do your homework... research the company before the interview. During the interview, let the interviewer know you did that... by describing some things about the company... and your possible job ,,, that you really like.
