Am I wrong for getting a restraining order on my mom and suing her?

Not long after posting this I was cleared How do you deal with being placed on administrative leave?

Again, I was lied on and it was another officer that was arrested. They just cleared me of any wrongdoing. My room was searched and no weapons were found. Under red flag law, they took it because of these wild allegations from her. I spent all day stressing about losing my job. I don’t get why she keeps trying to get me to lose my career. I worked hard ass fuck to get where I am.

Dang sis, that sounds like a real mess with your mom. A restraining order is serious business so she must've really done something to make you feel you need that. And suing your own mom, yikes! Family stuff is always complicated though.

As for the work stuff, that's super unfair they put you on leave just cause of accusations without evidence. I'd be pissed too if someone tried to take away what I worked hard for. At least they saw it was all lies in the end and cleared you. Still gotta be stressful dealing with that drama at your job though. Maybe you could try talking to your mom, see if you can work things out somehow before it gets worse? Easier said than done with family though, that's for sure. Just do what you gotta do to feel safe and keep your career, that's important. Hope it all works out!
