I mean either bringing actual work home with you or in terms of stress and mindset.
Does your work come home with you or does it stay at work?

I did, for a short while, a few months. We got a new owner at the print shop and he wanted to move the company out to the sticks about 50 miles from where it was and none of us could get to it so, I cleaned out a space in the garage and had him send my work to me and I would work in the garage and let him know when the job was done and that he could come get it. By Oct., he stopped sending me work and I decided to apply at another print shop 6 blocks away from my house and started working there for the next 16 months until they closed up shop.
The cool thing about working at home was that I didn't have to sweat my ass off inside, no more loud machines trying to deafen me, and I could start and stop any time I wanted, as long as I got my 8 hours in, I didn't have to pack a lunch and, as mom had a stroke 3 years before and needed help, sometimes, I was only seconds away from being able to go in the house to help her.
And, a few years earlier, when I was working with a local stage magician as prop manager, I also took on the role as assistant stage manager and laid out what everyone should be doing on the show to make it work as flawlessly as possible. I also edited some of the music as needed. Those two things, I did at home on my own time.
I think most of us do but guys will either keep it to themselves about how they feel, or share with their wife something negative actually about work related topic.
Women on the other hand almost always talk about something negative between coworkers or boss and then you ask yourself, do they actually do any work or do they just gossip all day every day
All the time. I mean I dont have a place for work outside home so for the firstr part yes, I do work at home often/most of the time. Stresswise yes that as well. Not the actual stress that is normal for work. I can deal with that. The stress from harressment is the problem that I keep 'bringing home'.
I'm in a unique position where my work is always around me. I'm always dancing.
Reminds me of a Futurama episode where Bender has to keep partying and dancing, lest he explodes and dies 😄
I might just die if I stop. Or my nose bleeds.
You should check out that episode. I think it's called "Rebirth".

I'm in the middle of lambing in one of the wettest springs on record. I've got to check on them every 2 hours minimum because they're worse than lemmings. I can't escape my work.
Yes. My work doesn't have 9 to 5 hrs so to speak. In some sense I'm never working since a labor of love. But in another sense I'm never off the clock.
Work doesn’t cause me stress…I love my job.
