No you should just be able to go to a dealership and just purchase the car without talking to a human

Here's my dream: you go to a dealership: you say I'm want to try the Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid. You test drive the base model. If you like it, you go in and tell the salesperson what add ons and colors you want. They send that info to the factory. The factory puts your car together and ships it to the dealer. There should be no haggling. Just the price on the car just like a TV or computer at Best Buy
I hate that you have to pick from only what they have on the lot
I live in a mid-sized city. I go online and look at the base model of a Rav 4 Hybrid and see the price. Looks reasonable. Then I go to my local dealer's websites, and all they have is one or two Rav 4 hybrid models and they are all the super-duper platinum editions at least $10k over the base model and always in white, black, gray, or silver.
I've never bought from an agency nor a dealer
from their previous user, directly
It’d be nice if we could just build & order them online or in person.
Set prices for new cars, no haggling and no “market adjustment fees”. I’m still pissed they wanted over 40k for the Prius I wanted.
