My one supervisor told me I was ok to just have a substitute work for me on Memorial Day just for the morning?

But another supervisor who’s covering for her this week while she son vacation scheduled me to work the afternoon and didn’t tell me and I didn’t know until I looked at the schedule. I was wondering if she was wrong to do that?

Ay girl that's kinda bogus how they went changing things up on you like that without telling you! Super disrespectful to switch your schedule around without even a heads up.

I'd say you gotta talk to them both to get on the same page. Like clearly, you had planned to have off in the morning since your regular boss said it was cool. So that new temp lady shoulda checked with you first before modifying your hours.

Plus Memorial Day is kinda important, we should all be able to spend some time with friends/fam on national holidays, ya feel me? I'd just tell them politely but firmly that you expected the morning off since that was agreed. And that you need proper notice for any future changes too.

Stand up for yourself g! Don't let them walk all over your time like that without discussing. If they give you trouble, maybe even mention asking the union rep or something. Bet they'll shape up real quick then, hehe! Keep it respectful but make sure your views are heard too sis!
