My superior called us for a meeting and my coworkers reported me instead of meeting?

My supervisor and us have a groupchat in facebook & she texted us that we will be having a meeting at 5pm and I agreed to join them. I just got hired from this hospital job as admin assistant a month ago and I tend to still forgot some things and still not used at my job by the way Im the kind of person who never reports anyone if someone does a mistake to boss or humiliate someone like when guard made a mistake my coworker Jelyn told me to scold him for not letting a person she's covid negative of swab. We give results to guard for them to assist people guard forgot to tell it. by the way I didn't scold the guard cuz I dont want to humiliate him in front of people. Back to real issue my supervisor and us had a meeting. It became open forum tbh. I just hired from this job a month ago and my coworkers were 4 shifting duties in this job (me, Nika, Jee, and Des) Nika told my supervisor Im having trouble at my job & that I seem like my mind is out of my brain & I seem confuse at my job like Im slow to pick up words or absorb the things that they are saying like Im really slow. Jee opened up too she said Im having trouble saying booster or swab sometimes funny cuz I never switch duties with her she just heard it from someone so why would she open it up?
& my supervisor said Im still new so maybe Im still adjusting. Des never showed up the meeting but supervisor asked about her and Nika said Des is doing great about her job ( by the way they are from same town and very close than me) When I came to work someone is asking result of her swab "Angeles, Cristina" has waiver on folder but it was never written or log on watchers log list. We have waiver because we log it on book and encode the information of watcher so PCR will just upload results on site. We logged the names of watcher for future uses. Funny because the duty before me JEE reported me having mistake but she also forgot to write it on our watchers log list. We switch duties

I mean she's right when they talk to me Im like I can't answer immediately or Im absent minded something like that lol because sometimes my mind is like racing or thinking something that I can't answer them immediately but about my work I didn't have a problem about my job main role consists of interviewing watcher of patients and let them write on forms.

And I after they write forms I call the ward if they already have watcher of that patient so that I know if they can enter the ward before I let the watcher go into the ward so I double check everything so that I won't be sue just in case the ward has already watcher and I let the incoming watcher in to the ward.

Wow girl, that's just the worst! I can't believe your coworkers would do you dirty like that. Reporting little mistakes when you're still new is so unfair. Like no kidding you're still learning the ropes after only a month - anyone would be!

It really sucks that Nika and Jee are trying to make themselves look better by throwing you under the bus. I guess they think putting you down will make management see them more favorably or something. But that's such a lousy way to treat someone, especially someone on your own team. You'd think they'd want to help you succeed too so you could all work well together. Real friends don't act so two-faced.

I don't blame you for wanting to quit if you can't trust the people you work with. That would stress me out so much! But at the same time, if you really like the job itself when you're not dealing with their drama, it might be worth sticking it out till your contract ends. That way it wouldn't look as bad walking away, and you could hopefully find something even better afterwards.

Plus there's no guarantee a new job wouldn't have backstabbers too. But if you do decide to leave, just make sure you get that last paycheck first! The constant micromanaging they put you through totally isn't fair when you're still learning. Don't let them get you down - you seem like you're doing your best and that's all that matters. I bet you'll have the hang of it in no time once you're out of that toxic work environment! You've got this girl!

Lol yeah plus Nika is always favored Des. Nika texted me on our groupchat on facebook about people constantly asking results of swab (my duty is 6pm-6am so they get swab at night and results will always be after lunch tomorrow so they gotta wait at least 12 hours and cut off is 2pm for results so anyone who get swab at 2pm onwards will wait for results after lunch tomorrow. We dont say exact time just after lunch) Nika texted me at around 12:45 pm on our groupchat that " I said that the results will be release before lunch " I was like what? I never mentioned before lunch I always said after lunch and Des is there responded in our groupchat too she said "Maybe people just misheard the after lunch so they thought before lunch" and I mentioned to Nika and Des that on my duty last night 2 women keep asking about their results and they said that duty on that time who interviewed them (Des) didn't mention it to them. I told Des about it and she responded that she also said that the results will be release tomorrow and I replied " So Maam Nika its always like that like even if you mention it to people they will always misheard it and Nika responded to me " No its only you, because you were nighy shift you're the one who has constantly keep asking results" ( like she didn't even acknowledge my opinion that Des has someone who constantly asking results about their swab tests too like she's sounds she always blames me and doesn't even criticize Des as well because we have the same experience) I responded " Maam what time is it now that you chatted on groupchat its already 12:45 actually its almost 1 pm so people are really expecting to get the results" well in my mind Im so angry that she can't even understand its already lunch time so I said its after lunch the results will be release and that she should be aware people will constantly ask about the results around 12 like you dont even realize it that you have to mention me on groupchat just to humiliate me?

Like she should get mad if people are asking around 8am about their results but since its already 12 pm its common sense people will expect around that time so that even if I say after lunch and then they misheard the before lunch like Nika is claiming because she texted us at around 12:45 pm on groupchat then it means that Im not wrong that I really said its after lunch because they didn't ask in the morning for results they asked around 12 I assume because thats the time Nika texted us I know once I get mistake she will immediately texted me and mention me on groupchat but since she chatted on 12:45 I assume that when the time people asked the results.
by the way Nika didn't even respond after that she just read my message.

I don't know if Nika is just mad that people are constantly asking her about results when its also part of our job to say or a bit talk to them nicely like say " Sir maybe you misheard it we say after lunch not before lunch" her she's gonna text you first and blames you like you're also supposed to help and calm the people who are waiting for results. I remember last time she said people who are on morning shift do most work than night shift and Im on night shift always and that morning shift have always big work load than night shift. Like wtf night shift is more prone to cancer and disease too although less people asking you about status of patients its still tiring as working on day shift like she should be complaining. Just venting cuz she always favored someone else when we make mistakes when I make mistakes its always only ne who gets the blame. Man, your coworker Nika really seems to have it out for you. It's so obvious she's playing favorites with Des too. Like you said, Des has probably had people asking about results multiple times too since it's a common thing, but Nika never calls her out.

It was pretty messed up of Nika to specifically call you out on the group chat like that. Especially since she was talking about it at almost 1pm, right when people would be expecting results after lunch like you said! She was just looking for a way to throw you under the bus again. And then blaming you for "constantly asking" when it's literally your job to help people with their results. Ugh.

I can tell you're really frustrated with her obvious bias and favoritism. It's not fair she's always singling you out to put on the spot. I wouldn't wanna work with someone like that either. Honestly even your boss should see through Nika's BS by now if she's always tattling on tiny things. At this point she just looks like a hater.

Maybe try talking to your boss one more time about feeling targeted. Sometimes bosses can be kinda clueless if they're not seeing both sides. But yeah, if nothing changes or Nika keeps it up, I wouldn't blame you for looking elsewhere. No job is worth that much stress and drama. I'd be venting too if my coworker was playing favorites and running to the boss to tattle all the time. A real teammate would pull you aside first if they noticed a mistake, not throw you under the bus in a meeting.

Lol finally she made a mistake someone called me from ER Pedia that Paulito, Angeline has booster and they were waiting for hours for her booster photocopy. Er Pedia called me around 7:47 pm and I saw it on Nikas log book that she wrote it around 5:41 pm meaning ER pedia was waiting for 2 hours to get that booster I took a pic of her loglist on her duty time and texted Nika on our groupchat and called her out on that she didn't even endorse me that booster and that ER Pedia was waiting for hours to get that photocopy of booster and she replied "Oh sorry girl please do it for me" and I called ER pedia that Nika didn't even endorse me that booster so I didn't know that they were waiting for 2 hours for that booster vaccine I printed the booster of Paulito Angeline that she sent on email and gave it to ER Pedia. And told groupchat that I gave it to ErPedia and Nika just liked it with emoji lol
See? They even make mistakes but she's different when I make mistakes its like she's humiliating me and belittling me but me? I can't even do that to her which is unfair. 🙄

Yeah she has favoritism and yeah always throwing me under the bus. I wouldn't want to work with her when I see her on my duty my mood suddenly became bad like Im not feeling good. She doesn't bring happiness in me she doesn't encourage me she doesn't motivate me when I see her. Yeah I think she hates me because Im always night shift she thinks morning shifts have more workload but its not true because we work at public hospital meaning free hospital so day and night has more patients regardless of time because its free so people would go here than hospital that are not free of charge. I don't know maybe she thinks that saying my mistakes in public would people think of her as the best employee of us 4 maybe her and Jea ( the other tattletale next to Nika) (its Nika, Jea, Dea and me) and I heard she's having a problem with her husband because her husband is having an affair with someone , I don't know maybe thats her karma now?
How I wish she's gone like she should leave or How I wish she get her karma for always throwing me under the bus. you're right she's not a good team player she should pull me aside first when I make small mistake than throwing me under the bus on meeting its like backstabbing to me. Like you dont expect they were throwing under the bus which is not cool. That made me angry at them. Also I always remembered her now and Jea as coworker who will throw you under the bus. You handled it way better than I would have - I'd be tempted to clap back at her for sure. But I like that you just stated the facts and got the patient what they needed. Now maybe she'll think twice about skipping steps herself.

You deserve to be at a place where you feel supported and like your coworkers have your back, not constantly putting you down. I know it's gotta be hard dealing with that drama every day.

And like you said, both shifts are busy at the hospital so she's just making excuses to complain. Kinda sounds like she's got problems at home too with her husband, so maybe that's why she's always in a bad mood. Still not an excuse to take it out on you though.

As for karma, sounds like maybe it's starting to catch up to her already! I wouldn't wish anything bad on her, but hopefully she realizes how she makes others feel before it ruins her other relationships too. You definitely don't need people like that bringing you down, luv.

Yeah actually this coming July I heard she is now leaving because she is pregnant and need time for her pregnancy for labor which was kinda made me happy because she is leaving but then I don't know if my contract is renewing since my job contract is ending so it makes me feel anxious too. But whatever God wants for me I'll accept it.

Ah that's kinda bittersweet news then - on one hand good that Nika's leaving so she won't be stressing you out anymore. But I can see how finding out right when your contract is ending would make you nervous about your own job situation too.

That is a tough spot to be in, not knowing if they'll renew you or not. I'm sure it's adding more anxiety on top of dealing with Nika before she goes. But like you said, whatever happens you just gotta trust it's part of the plan.

Maybe focus on doing your best til the end and see what they say? If they do renew you, bonus - you don't have to deal with Nika's BS anymore! And if not, then at least you didn't quit before your contract was up.

Ugh, for real. Nika totally abused her position by constantly running to the boss instead of even just talking to you first. That's such a snake move on her part.

Like you said, it's one thing to offer constructive criticism to help someone improve - but doing it publicly just to humiliate them is beyond messed up. She clearly just wanted to make herself look better by throwing you under the bus. Super sneaky and not cool at all.

It's definitely a good lesson learned - now you know the type of person not to trust at work. Snitches like that who want to get ahead by hurting others are not real teammates. Better to just steer clear of anyone like Nika in the future if you can.
