Girl, it's totally normal to feel scared about being dependent on welfare or anyone else! Losing your only source of income is stressful as hell.
I think a lot of it comes down to wanting to feel in control of your own life. When you rely on someone or something else for money, you lose that sense of power over your situation. It's frightening not knowing if/when support could disappear.
But try not to stress too much, sis. Welfare is there as a safety net exactly for times like this when shit isn't in your hands. The system is set up so most people don't need to rely on it forever.
Have faith that you'll bounce back - stay proactive in your job search and work on your resume. You've got skills and experience, it's just a rough patch. In the meantime, welfare should keep a roof over your head so breathe!
Maybe see if there are any short-term jobs or certifications you could do for extra cash flow too. But don't feel bad about accepting help in the short term. You've got this, babe! Chin up ❤
I we'd answer but have to ask first:
What part of the world do you live in?
What kind of job skills or jobs have you had in the past?
Do you have kids to take care of or elderly parents, grandparents?

Because you are an adult relying on other adults to keep you alive instead of doing what you should be doing.
But what if u lose ur job? And have anxiety issues
