Is 8 people to leave in 18 months a lot?

I'm thinking of leaving my job.

I've been there for 18 months and since then 8 people have left.

Do you think that's a lot?

If there’s a lot of turnover in a short amount of time, it’s either a shit job or a shit manager.


I remember I worked one store where I saw at least 6 managers come and go in the span of a year. Two were promoted (within less than 3 months), four quit because the hours and work was so intense or because it was causing health problems and it was better for them to leave. It convinced me that management will never be a job I want.

Yeah, I'm starting to look elsewhere. Still going to stay here till I find something else
