For context the girl is 19 and i just turned 27 we were talking a lot online before i found out her age now i feel weird about the age gap

I can understand why you would feel weird about it, but I say she is technically an adult in the eyes of the law plus some girls are much more mature for their age, and sometimes they’re better off dating an older guy than a young dude who don’t know what he is doing with his life.

The age isn't as weird as you getting along with a 19 year old in that way. You have almost 50% more life experience than her. I just don't see a world were I found a 19 year old interesting enough to be my partner when I was 27.

Seems my opinion is unpopular. But I'm not saying don't do it. I know some one who was well into his 30's and started dating someone who was 17. They're still together well over 5 years later, so it can work. I'd just say by late 20's you've probably got career, evaluated your life goals, maybe your own place, it's a different stage of life than an average teen. Just proceed with caution
