Nope, my (23) girlfriend is dating a (46) me. I mean, it isn't weird to us, but it is definitely weird in terms of "what is normal and average in society". We are outliers, and we know it, but we don't personally feel weird. And most people don't treat us weird or act weird about it. Our friends and families accept us, and even laugh about it a bit with us.
This video says that about 8% of heterosexual relationships have an age gap of 10 years or more:

LOL, no, that isn't even that far apart in age.
I've heard many people with similar age gaps having regrets. I think past 25-30 any age gap is fine but the 23 year old is gonna be a different person in 2 years when the brain is fully developed
Nope, after my break up with my young hella sexy boyfriend of 27, who I was with from the age of 22 till I was 26.
I realized I could give a chance to more mature men instead.

If the guy is 20 and the girl is 12, it's NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!
If the guy is 30 and the girl is 22, is eye catching and notable.
If the guy is 40 and the girl is 32, it's not a very big deal, at all.
If the guy is 50 and the girl is 42, no one will care.
No. I think that’s a beautiful age gap.
Nah that is fine as long as you are happy and comfortable with it. The only thing with this type of relationship is making sure he’s dating you and not your age, as when you get to say 25, you might find he’s lost interest and is dating some other 21 -23 yr old
8 years is seriously nothing, especially if the younger partner is 20+. I'd worry less about the age gap and more about how compatible the two of you are, how you get along, whether you make each other happy, etc.
For me personally it would in most cases, I need to be on the same mental level as the girl and at 22 they are usually just students. So she'd need to be mature outside of that for the age gap to work out.
No that is not weird. My sister and married with three kids and her husband is 8 years older than her. Me personally I would go out with a girl 9 years younger with no issues but that is the max I would want.
As long as both people are adults, it should not be a problem! Why put such stupid barriers if the compatibility is excellent? Why nip a budding relationship full of potential in the bud?
My first long-term relationship was with a man 9 years older than me :D It worked for some time, but I was too independent for him, and he was too controlling for me :D
Going 8 years older is fine. Going 8 years younger is weird.
No, an age gap of 8 is actually fine. As long as the people in a relationship can communicate well.
In the 20's, yes, bordering on criminal (i. e., ages 25 and 17) . After the 30's for the older partner, no. At my age, eight years is FAR TOO LITTLE.(I couldn't imagine dating a 62-year-old woman unless she were LOADED !!!)
A gap of 8 years, particularly older guy and younger girl doesn't seem large.
Eight years is nothing at all, so no, it's not "weird".
It's teetering on the precipice of unusual but it's not quite there.
8 is too big m23 w31 or m21 w29, unless your situation w23 m31 fine.
Gonna act like I ain't angry after you talking about a 31 yr old man then have a pic of an old dude!
No, I don't see it being weird.
My Mother and Father are 10 Years apart.
I think a Relationship should be based on mutual Understanding, Goals and Love.
8 years is nothing. When I was 18 i fucked the hotest sluttiest 10 year old you'd never believe existed
my wife is 9 years younger than me, what does that tell you?
