When jobs you’ve applied to, reach out to you nearly 2.5 weeks later: what’s your approach?

Say you accepted a different job for less pay and unsteady hours because that’s all that would accept your application. But ur in a small town and don’t want to burn bridges!
(I’m also getting out of road work and going to a simple laid back job indoors, so my work history and skills are not common when applying for completely different lines of employment).
