Boys to Hardware Store, Girls to Library for hair and makeup?

This is a story of a school in Australia that held a special day for its students. Boys went to the hardware store to learn about construction while girls went to the library to have their hair and makeup done. This prompted the father of one of the girls to write this letter...

I think the letter it’s a tad sarcastic, I mean Flux Capacitor? But I absolutely agree with this dad’s assertion! I LOVE getting my hair and makeup done. But I also loved building my first vehicle which was a 95 Jeep YJ, I took it apart, removed the body from the frame, sent that to be sand blasted and powder-coated. I replaced all “cancerous” (AKA rusty) medal and reassembled the Jeep! My dad got an LS motor from Texas Speed, but rather than a crate motor, he bought all the parts, and I had to follow the directions, and build the engine! I was SO fckn proud when he yelled okay Princess, fire it up, and it actually started! I would have LOVED to have gone to the hardware store!

It’s SO demeaning to presume that girls would ONLY be interested in getting a makeover! What is wrong with these morons who thought THAT would even remotely be okay?

I blush for my countryman. Obviously a woke leftist rabid Labor voter who appears to have never been to a department store in his life.

If he had, he would have found miles of makeup and perfumery cabinets. If he had looked for male clothing he would have seached through floors of female clothing to eventually find mens clothing tucked away in a corner. If he had wanted a warm coat, as I did last week, he would have found he had a choice of one.

At Bunnings (your Home Depot) he would have found some women at the paint shop looking at color cards and maybe one or two looking at lights. Absolutely none in the tool shop looking at hammers or power tools.

In fact every girlfriend has elected to wait for me in the car rather than enter Bunnings.

What will happen is that the school administrators will be afraid of getting fired or sued by disgruntled parents so both programs will be discontinued and everyone will get a study period instead.

Only one day? When I was in school boys were required to take Industrial Arts, which was wood working, metal working, drafting, welding, etc. Girls were required to take Home Ec. which was cooking, sewing, etc.

If I remember right, we had to take two years. I think one year was in middle school, and the other was in high school and was required for graduation.

Same here, WindAtMyBack. In fact, it was in Industrial Arts where, as a five-feet,93-pound 12-year-old eighth grader, I lunged at another lad's throat with an awl because he called me the "N" word.

I'm not sure many boys want their make up done but how many want to go into construction jobs too? What if they want to be accountants or dentists?

Both boys are girls learned about work and the tools needed for their future work. Boys will use tools to make money, and girls will manipulate and exploit boys for money using their appearance and sexuality.
