It can be anything. Toxic stuff, no windows, shitty lunchroom, etc.

In my primary field of expertise, which encompasses computers and finance, I have experienced significant stress in the past due to allowing people's comments to affect me on a personal level.
Having attended a prestigious private Ivy-league institution and the Microsoft Academy, as well as receiving personal training from a Microsoft MVP, I faced immense pressure in my professional role and consulting endeavors.
Several years later, I encountered an audit that nearly led to my disbarment, prompting me to resort to serving and stripping as a means of livelihood. This transition presented its own set of challenges, particularly when I found myself performing at various Ladies Nights events on weekends.
@ManOnFire When discussing the subject matter, it is unclear whether you are specifically addressing the fields of computers, finance, or the service and hospitality industry, or perhaps all of them collectively.
Additionally, there may be an intention to draw comparisons between these areas.
@ManOnFire During my time in University, I reached the peak of my academic success, holding the top position in my class. It was during this period that I had the opportunity to receive training from a Microsoft MVP on a specialized software platform developed by the company.
Despite excelling in my technical skills, I lacked the maturity required to handle the responsibilities that came with my success. At the young age of twenty-one, I found myself receiving calls from high-ranking individuals such as Directors, Executives, and Owners of Fortune 500/1000 companies. However, I soon realized that my youth was a barrier to fully capitalizing on these opportunities.
Trusting others blindly led me to a point where I faced betrayal and disappointment. I learned the hard way that giving people unwavering trust could result in being taken advantage of. This experience forced me to endure hardships such as audits and financial struggles, which I continue to navigate to this day in order to sustain a living.
Sometimes the personalities involved in legal disputes aren't the nicest or most cordial. That said, I've met a number of lawyers who are fantastic, empathetic people.
Also, dealing with regular conflict in general can be exhausting, even if you have the good fortune of dealing with pleasant people.
The trick to being happy in most professions is to have boundaries to separate work from your personal life.
A particular manager that’s there. She’ll get on the female employees, but not the male employees. A female employee can do something wrong and she will get chastised immediately by this manager. A male employee can do the same thing, but this manager won’t say a word to him. It’s favoritism. 🙄🤦🏾♀️
I hate employers. They want full time employees but they won’t provide full time hours. It’s been 4.5 years and I never get hours in the winter and I’m forced to move because no money and I have scrape by finding another job. So if you’re an employer, get f*cked you heartless prick
Right! Now I don’t trust employers one bit 😂

Too much to do, too much being requested, and the bad system structure with not enough time in the day to do everything for an 8 hours shift and management not wanting to pay staff for OT if they’re staying extra to finish documentation that’s required. I do find myself mentally or emotionally exhausted once I clocked out. Other than that I do love what I do, my co-workers, & director.
Dealing with dumb nurses who yell at the kitchen staff for being too busy. Us dietary aides and cooks try our very best, but they’re not very patient. Some of the nurses aides also complain. We have a bunch of nurses and nurses aides who are very impatient!
Empty and repetitive promises about all these lucrative IT projects surely starting next week... or next month... or was it next year?
That i can't walk away from it - ever. HS teacher and yes, even summers are planning and research and classes i take too.
During the school year its bringing work home or weekend planning or grading. Its answering parent emails or kids texts via school app.
It just doesn't end. Always thinking about them and their welfare, home life and the ongoing drama and "crisis" that is HS in usa America.
No 100% American in NYC region. Mom is British
Office staff that don’t know the job, and derelict old equipment that never works right and frequently doesn’t at all. Keeps you on your toes never knowing if the boat is gonna be floating when you show up 🙃
Time away from family. The virtual assurance of a nice case of PTSD. The front row seats to human suffering, idiocy, and cruelty.
My job has gone from bad to worse lately. But the worst thing right is is my real earnings are down 14% because of inflation. Number one problem. And my company is expecting MORE our of me lately.
And the bs that is going on is NOT necessary. Our services are still in high demand but ever since we got bought out the new owners are slowly churning and burning us.
It used to be an awesome job but not any more.
What I hate the most in my job is the constant cancellation of lessons and the fact that I work mostly in the evenings when most people come home, go to the go m, meet tgeur friends, etc.
As a truck driver, dealing with inconsiderate drivers
setting up a business, and getting to the point in which it as settled to be consistently running very well... can be a very grueling experience, lol
moreso during COVID times, for sure
My previous job was fine ( massaging people ) but I get to see a lot of hair men which is disgusting for me
Days where there is very little or only boring work available. Good problem to have though after having destroyed myself for an employer that was to demanding and to hectic.
I sometimes have to work really early hours, to go out and listen to birds, look for animals, and canoe or kayak a waterway... wait a sec, where am I going with this?
The AWFUL clients and my dick sucking manager she is the worst person alive
@manonfire save your misogyny lmao
And she is not “giving head” its her own business she the whole business owner..,
You're not still there are you?
@darkchild25 well i have bills to pay unfortunately
@manonfire i mean she is a shitty manager that is a fact but that has nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman… i had another female manager before her and she was amazing… like grouping women as one is the problem…
Another young woman misinterpreting words again at its finest. I said "a woman giving head at work is the worst." That statement does not put all women in the same box, it states only women who do that at work.
Learn to listen with intent before misreading someone because of your feelings about what they said.
The long hours, ignorant customers, trying to get paid
Lack of windows lol 🪟🪟
Long hours. Sometimes I work 16 hour shifts
When my boss micromanages my colleagues and me.
I had the same, but it was a co-worker. He has been with the company for years. He was trying to train me, he meant well, but was really over bearing.
I don, t get a lot of time off.
