How would you feel if your manager on duty went full out psychotic mid shift?

This happened to me and another coworker on individual nights. My key holder manager has been acting erratic and saying things like "people are watching me in the bathroom", and "the store manager has taken my keys away from me", she kept seeing people walking out of the store without paying when it wasn't true, and the district manager was there when he wasn't. She left me in the store, ALONE and just drove off for 20 minutes on a Friday evening on a 4th of July Weekend when we were busy at all times, my assistant store manager had to call her and tell her to get her ass back to the store and close the store up for the night, and the keyholder told her she was going to blow her head off, then hung up. She then asked me, "What have I ever done to y'all"? I told her nothing, she was like Don't lie, and again i said nothing, because up to that point she never had. She then threw me under the bus when she wrote a note saying" I'm sorry but I tried and failed, but that I did jack shit" I mean , that's not true, I'm the fucking cashier, I handle most of the customers, I'm the face at the counter and the one that makes sure everyone leaves at least satisfied. What Did I do wrong? The rumor is that she was on halluengenics (possibly meth) while on shift. She had said she hadn't eaten or slept for 3 days at the time. She also accused me of laughing at her, honestly I wanted to slap her back into reality. I mean, what can I do? This is a manager, who couldn't even be competent to do her own duties. Her boyfriend ended up in prison for a charge of trafficking meth, and she's now with his brother. That's when the downward spiral started after she got with him.

Fuck it I’d let it go. I’d Talk to her and tell her listen I really don’t give a shit what you do. if you see Woody woodpecker or Bugs Bunny running out of the store without paying. again I don’t give a fuck just don’t disappear on me and if you do let me know you’re gonna disappear and when your coming back so I don’t look like a jackass if your boss shows up and I don’t have nothing to say, please give me a chance to back you. And If you can’t understand that then go fuck yourself that’s what I would say. Sometimes you just gotta be blunt with people they understand that shit.

I'd call 911... get police and ambulances both

first, for a medical check... and then for a police report that will get more people involved and aware

this is not the kind of stuff that happens out of nowhere and for no reasons... this is the kind of stuff that has been ongoing, and than it could get worse before it gets any better... this person does need help and for others to care, not to just dismiss as "crazy"

Years ago a team manager at a smaller software company I contracted with had a nervous breakdown at work. Two or three important projects went off-schedule/budget and he couldn’t handle the pressure. They sent him home for the week to get some rest and distance.

I had a similar thing happen with an old coworker. He was paranoid and kept saying that everyone one was out to get him. He randomly walked up me and said "I know that you guys were talking about me" and tried to fight me lol he texted me and apologized the next day

How do you get someone out of a meth psycosis?

It can't be treated, the best way to pull out of it is to sleep. It's not the drug that causes all the erratic behavior, it's the lack of sleep from the drug. Some users are up for 4-5 days at a time.
