I suppose that depends on the new context you’re trying to apply it to, but that also feels like the same kind of thinking that allows the medical industry to benefit from nazi medical experiments. They were conducted in horrible ways, and some were arguably a form of torture, but the information they gave us is undoubtedly useful in treating and caring for the human body, like how many liters of blood exists within the average person.
