What advice can you give to people here from your field for free?

For software engineering I would say 99% of the code you want to write has already been written and optimized by someone else. It is a waste of time to think yourself clever for coming up with it when the truly clever approach would have been to just include the open source library that does it for you. That is ultimately the greatest test of skill they don't teach in school (at least not undergrads): how to not waste time repeating other people's work.

And it is work. Software engineering almost feels like playing a video game when you first get into it. The control and understanding are so simple and effective it can be a little intoxicating to a certian personality. But it isn't a video game. It's work. And the thing about work thats nearly universally understood, even if no one says it outloud, is getting the maximum pay for the minimum work. The concept of work ethic is something those who understand this use to trick the people who dont into doing their work for free.

Focus on the requirements of the task. If you spend 20 days writing fascinating code to meet requirements the guy next to you imports two libraries to meet in 40 seconds, he's better than you because he can then proceed to the next requirement. The people who write these requirements don't care about clever coding. They just want someone who doesn't take 20 days to write code that could have been done in 40 seconds.

I also studied in the specialized secondary school in computer technology, in addition to two years of the specialized institute in the computer engineering department, and I graduated without any real qualifications to enter the labor market, and with this I completely agree with you. We have spent years writing instructions, and there are more advanced programs that allow pre-programmed objects and buttons. I studied c#, sql, c# and html website design

I'll leave a few gems from the private equity and legal world here.

• No one can really know how much they're going to make, but they can know how much they're going to spend. So base your cash flow projections on your monthly burn rate and try to secure investment greater than that.
• Two kinds of people complicate a deal: the people who are trying to distract you from their real goal, and the people who don't know what they're doing and are letting their lawyers rack up billable hours.
• Be an informed client. Broadly understand your situation before you talk to a lawyer because that knowledge is going make communication with your representation 100X easier, and it will give you the added benefit of understanding who you should hire.
• Because of the various fee arrangements you can negotiate with your lawyer, I PROMISE YOU that hiring COMPETENT legal representation is almost always worth the expense, and it doesn't need to break the bank.
