Can anyone familiar with US Work Visa / Immigration give me some advice?

I have a Bachelor’s degree and I’m currently working in my home country. I never thought about working in the US before but I recently came across a job opening for my dream job , and I have the qualifications for it. I know a work visa is required but I have some questions before I even apply for the job.

1. Will applying for a US work visa affect my tourist visa, especially if I need to renew my tourist visa?
2. Am I allowed to have an additional income from my home country while working in the US? I have some rental buildings where I receive an income and I’m also part owner of my family’s business.
3. What’s the difference between the temporary work visa and the permanent one?

While I would love to work and live in the USA. I have no intention of overstaying unnecessarily, and I wish to frequently visit my home country. If applying for a work visa can raise red flags I would choose to stay at my current job. I don’t really want any issues to arise. Thanks!
