With everything in life you're bound to fail the first times you try it. Whether it's piano (you'll never play a song perfectly on your first try, unless you've mastered reading notes and playing them in sync with the best), or doing keep ups (you'll drop the ball thousands of times before you learn to keep it up forever), or math or ANYTHING in life. Failure is literally PART of the learning process.

If you want to start a business, there will be aspects of it that will fail, like marketing or pricing, or even the product or service itself. If it's marketing, you learn what people resonate through trial and error. If it's pricing, you learn what prices are too low for people to value or too high for people to afford. If it's the product or service, you learn what people desire more and more after each experience they have with it and maybe add specific aspects to your product or service to make them happier.

It's almost impossible to do something that's worth doing and not fail at least a few times in the process. You should always treat failure as a part of the experience. People that are afraid of failure as less likely to succeed in life.

Trust me it's a much better way to live when you treat failure as a series of lessons than internalizing it and spiraling. Work on your introspection skills and never stop learning and you will overall be a better version of yourself. believe in it!

You can't always win. However you can learn avoiding mistakes which caused a failure. It's not different in positive way of learning, you should always remember strategies and tricks which led to success.
Another thing is personal dealing with failures. Some people display school book defense mechanisms while confronted with their failures, while others have the courage and confidence to admit a failure.

The reason “fuck it” is more motivating than “I can do this” is because the former allows the possibility of failure. You can learn from your failings, that’s how most of us learn period, but taking that approach can also help you with learning to become desensitized to it. It doesn’t hit as hard because you’ve already failed and nothing changed as a result.
