When you were younger, what was your dream job?

My dream job as a younger man was as it still is, as a quality control inspector for members of, and applicants to, harems.
I know, that's terrible of me to say.
But, heck, why not, somebody has to do it, don't they?
Lol.
You asked, and I gave you an honest answer, however flippant it may sound.
I couldn't resist the temptation to say that it is so.
Yeah, I guess that I'll go to hell for saying it, though.

Actually, when I was a little kid, it was to be a frontiersman, carving out my own way in the wilderness, progressing then as a teenager to wanting to be a rock star (again, why not, I'm dreaming here, aren't I?).
As an adult, I've considered geology as well as all types of sciences to be interesting.

What I actually ended up being was a troubleshooter of all manner of electronic/electro-mechanical equipment, used in industrial, institutional, and commercial applications.
I found it to be interesting and it paid the bills.

My avocation in my 15 years of retirement has been in the study of music theory, and in my intermediate abilities to build and play musical instruments of numerous types for my own enjoyment.
Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton, et al, need not be concerned about my trying to supplant their places in the realm of guitar playing.

I like to go fishing, too, but I wouldn't want that to be a job.

First job that sounded cool to me when I was in grade 3 was an inventor. I was always drawn to things in the creative field. Because after, I wanted to be an engineer, then an architect, and now I've finally gotten to web design.

Well my first thoughts were I wanted to be a ninja or a spy because I liked deciphering codes and sneaking about LOL. Then people told me that is stupid and not an actual job so I decided I would be a veterinarian since I like animals. As I got older.. my aunt was a vet tech and she told me it is really hard to become an actual vet and you have to put animals to sleep/death so I decided that wasn't for me.
Now I am in security and if I do it for 10 years I can switch over to become a P. I. which I think will be a cool job since I am really good at digging up information and dirt on others.
