I work at a restaurant customers here are so extra and a lot of people are Karen's.
I am deciding to go on the auto insurance file that way I don't deal with Karen's.

Customer service is customer service. There will always be shitty customers at every job. If you want a job without shitty customers, stay out of customer service
As long as you’re working with people you’re going to encounter Karens.
... what makes you think you won't have to deal with shitty people?
Switching to an auto insurance company doesn't guarantee you won't encounter challenging customers. Every industry can have difficult clients, and insurance is no exception. However, your experience in customer service can be a valuable asset in handling diverse customer situations. Focus on improving conflict resolution skills and empathy, which can be beneficial in any customer-facing role. Additionally, auto insurance work often involves more structured interactions and can offer different challenges compared to restaurant work. Consider whether the change aligns with your broader career goals and interests.
