I'm going to guess you never developed a preferred technique when you are in high school.

Break it up over time small chunks consistently.
Discipline yourself and set aside time
Try multiple methods. Online videos, re writing notes for connections instead of information, highlighting on paper (I'm a teacher and every study EVER has said that we do better with reflected light than ambient light), enlist a tutor that your school probably has for free, get a trustworthy study buddy (which again, every study has said that studying in a dialogue rich productive partnership is highly effective), chew gum while studying, figure out what kind of testing format (MC, essay, presentation, short answer, etc) suits you best and work on the weaker skills.

It can be tough. One effective method is to learn the basics really, really well. And if exams have multiple choice answers, learn how to eliminate impossible answers even if you do not fully understand how to calculate something.

A simple example to demonstrate: the cube root of 100. You know 5 is too much (5^3=125) and 4 is too little 4^3=64), so if the four answers include choices that are higher than 5 or lower than 4, you can eliminate those. This method will often leave you with only one or two possible answers, so even when guessing you will have a better result.

I used chatgpt a lot and videos to help me understand my topic. In terms of time, don't study for hours on end, its pointless. study for 20 - 30 minutes and have break for 30 minutes and repeat.

Also never study to remember your topic, that will never work, study to understand your topic. If you understand what you are doing, you will remember it for a longer period of time.

When it comes to studying there is no magic pill method. i think the best way to study, is find way of understanding your subject. I can't stress this enough, don't study to remember your subject, will not work. That's the whole of studying, is to understand your subject.

Remembering is only good for facts, figures etc.

I currently studying English, but I amstudying to understand my subject.

Also get exercise, go for long walks, it clear your mind, and process what you are studying.

It really does help if you can generate enthusiasm for the subjects. I don't like this shit makes it hard.

Learning to focus is a great life skill and very necessary in study. Self talk can help shut down divergent thoughts onto sex etc.

I used to take the day before a test and spend it in the library studying. I used to look at all the coursework and write the most important stuff on one sheet of notebook paper. I would learn everything on that piece of paper.
