How many weeks in advance do you study before a test?

How many weeks before a test do you study. The test I’m taking dealing with real estate license. However I’m curious to know how long do you normally study for a test before the test.

I'm an engineer tutoring engineers of varying levels. My students who grasp the material quickly usually only need an 1-2 hrs per week of review for the entire semester. Others on the other hand will need constant review where they may need to do 4 hrs/day. When you take your exam, answering the questions should be second nature. If you feel pressured that means you didn't learn and absorb the material.

That used to be me as a younger man. I was a biomedical engineer student. Life happened and had to drop out of school and take care of personal things and then father died. Wish I was able to continue. I miss it. Maybe life would have been different for me. Oh well.
