If I receive a rejection 2 days after the interview does it mean they interviewer didn't like me at all?

I had two interviews were the interviewers seemed very sceptical from the very beginning and just going through the motions and not being interested in me at all. In both cases I received a rejection two days after the interview. Do big companies wait at least two days to send a rejection e-mail if they already know during the interview that they don't consider the candidate qualified enough?

Companies have a process they must go through, which involves other people reviewing candidates and signing off on whether a candidate is offered a job or not. The interviewer does not make that decision.

the sad thing is, it was interviews for a master thesis at a company. So they probably didn't require too much job experience and yet i still failed. I am pretty sure I met all the requirements that were mentioned in the job advert though

If you got rejected that quickly, and they were skeptical about you, it tells me that they'd already found their ideal candidate and you might have been late in the pool. Either that or they were on the fence when they saw your experience and credentials. A resume is just a snapshot, a summary of what you've done. The interview is where you sell and explain in detail.

No, not at all. We reject people all the time where I work and some of those people are more than qualified, but we can't employ everyone so we have to be picky.
