4. Do you get to travel?
5. Is there a great deal of socialization?
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave?
7. Do you see yourself working there next year?

I technically work 4 jobs and volunteer at a 5th. So I'll answer your questions for the first 4:
1- My company the one I own rating 10
1. Do you like your pay? 2 That's why I have 3 other jobs because my company doesn't make enough to pay my bills
2. Do you like your benefits? I have no benefits from any company I work for
3. Full-time or part-time? Yes, whenever I can
4. Do you get to travel? No
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? No
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? It's my baby
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? YES!!!
2 Fractional consultant for a company -7
1. Do you like your pay? Not yet, but there are hopes
2. Do you like your benefits? I don't receive any benefits from any company I am working for
3. Full-time or part-time? Part
4. Do you get to travel? Very rarely
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? No
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? I am vested in it's success, I like the owners/managers and am part of the team
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? Yes
3- Freelance stage hand -8
1. Do you like your pay? YES!!!
2. Do you like your benefits? I don't receive any benefits from any company I work for
3. Full-time or part-time? Part
4. Do you get to travel? Yes
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? Yes
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? There's no business like show business, I've been in, on and around the stage for 40 years. I love it. My job, "bringing smiles to children's faces, even if those children are 90"
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? Yes
4- Temp work at a factory (because there's not a lot of shows this time of year) 6
1. Do you like your pay? No
2. Do you like your benefits? Again what benefits?
3. Full-time or part-time? Full
4. Do you get to travel? No
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? No
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? I'm grateful that I can work here when I need a bit of extra money, it's covered my bills, but I am glad it's done on the 23rd
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? If I get short on money again, possibly. I'm always welcome back. But the situation that brought me here isn't likely to repeat itself. -I had a show lined up and needed to replace a piece of gear for it, then the show canceled after I purchased it putting me in the hole-
Overall, I'd give it a 4 out of 10.
It's kind of dragging me down. It's just long days of monotony. It sucks the soul out of you, being in front of a computer screen. I work best creatively, ie periods of intense concentration then go do something else.
I try and appreciate it, there are definitely good sides to it. It structures my day, and people are mostly tolerable. It pays my bills. But I really ultimately need change.
The pay is alright, but it's just not good here with the cost of living, and being single. House prices have risen by about 30-40% since convid.
Benefits wise. I have lots of annual leave, way over 30 days, plus two weeks off at Christmas. 6 months full sick pay. Can't complain.
Full time.
No travel. Well, I mean, sometimes to local educational institutions, ha.
It's an office environment. I also supervise a team, it can get very busy and I have to deal with customers and the complicated queries. But overall it's more a subdued environment.
Let's see what happens next year. Gonna look for something new over the Christmas period.
I love love love my job!! 😂 I give it 11 or 100!! I feel like I don’t work a day because it’s so fun! I’m a first grade teacher and have been a teacher since around 22 years old.
I got into teaching because lol I had no clue what I wanted to do growing up. My family were immigrants with no English or education background. However, since I had to help raise my little sister who is 11 years younger than me… I decided to go into teaching because she was so smart.
I didn’t know anything about it… salary? No clue. Benefits? No clue. Vacation? No clue..
now… I learned about it since they talk about it all the time so I learned a few things… yes I get benefits, and of course vacation. The pay? lol it’s an open knowledge that teachers’ pay are not much.
socializing? I don’t like to socialize with my work colleagues… I can if I want… since I am very bubbly… but I don’t like to mix personal with professional.
I can retire soon. ❤️😍
I am happy that you love your job.

Opinion
12Opinion
1. Do you like your pay? Its plenty (6 figures).
2. Do you like your benefits? Yeah, good enough.
3. Full-time or part-time? Full
4. Do you get to travel? Rarely (e. g. for work conference)
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? Yeah
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? Toxic work environment - gaslighting (by manager/coworker/former coworker), gossip (e. g. one coworker was described as an animal that pees everywhere), sexual harassment (e. g. telling a female coworker that a male coworker can give her CPR), lack of training documentation, knowledge hoarding by a few, stupid decisions by management (banning the use of water in chemical lab processes, if I am not mistaken, to avoid audits by environmental regulation services), high turn over rate
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? Yes, but I don't want to. Been working there for ~3.5 years. I am losing my sanity and youth. I will end up dead if I remain here for too long. Sucks when you are early in your career and need experience to get a job or another job...
I chose 0-3.
I would gladly take a job with less than half the salary if it was more sane than this place. But, I am scared to jump into another frying pan. This is the second company I have ever worked for.
And unfortunately, I am not sure of a sure-fire way to avoid a place like this again.
1. Do you like your pay? Yes, but would t complain if I got more😋
2. Do you like your benefits? yes, I am very happy with my benefits compared to my last job.
3. Full-time or part-time? Full time
4. Do you get to travel? Yes, sometimes
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? For the most part yes
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? I give it a 7 because nothing is perfect
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? Yes, unless I get another job offer I can’t refuse
Yes I do.
1. Yes, it's the most I've made up to this point.
2. Yes, they're good.
3. Full-time.
4. No, and I'm happy with that.
5. Kind of. I deal with a lot of suppliers and our production staff.
6 . Because the company is great, I like my coworker and my boss, and the work is fulfilling. There's a ton of opportunity at this place; lots of people who have been there for 30, 40, or more years. There was one man there who had been there for 50 YEARS. He died of cancer over the summer.
7. At the company? Yes. At this specific job? Maybe. I've applied for an internal job that might be a good fit for me. I won't be disappointed if I don't get it.
I'm retired now, so I'll answer the question for when I was working at my last job, just before I retired.
I like my job, a solid 9.
1. Do you like your pay? YES
2. Do you like your benefits? YES
3. Full-time or part-time? FULL-TIME
4. Do you get to travel? NOT RECENTLY, BEFORE I DID A LOT A TTRAVEL, ALL OVER THEWORLD
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? YES, ESPECIALLY WHEN WORKING AT A CUSTOMER SITE
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? THE JOB IS CHALLENGING AND HELPS PEOPLE IN THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? NO, I'M RETIRING
7 overall.
1. Do you like your pay? Yes
2. Do you like your benefits? Yes
3. Full-time or part-time? As much as I want
4. Do you get to travel? Only to LA and SD
5. Is there a great deal of socialization? Sometimes
6 . Why did you give it the rating you gave? There are parts I hate, like helping the wrong side win cases.
7. Do you see yourself working there next year? Yes. Probably one more decade.
I work a couple of hours a week, work with great people, don't talk to anyone except during meetings (90% of my work), have unlimited PTO, no real start/end time, and make good money.
The only gripes I have is upper management is awful (I don't have to deal with them though) and the company is trying to micromanage more and more. 9/10 for sure.
7, it could be higher but the higher ups make it more of a hassle for no reason. Pay is good, job itself is fine. Full time. I don't get to travel n'or do I want to. There is enough socialization, but I'm an introvert :p
10 I see myself doing it until I can't do it anymore and even then I'll try again
A job is a job. I do it for the money. I don't give a damn about any of the stuff I do I only learned all of it for the high salary.
Damn that's sucks doesn't sound like you like your career at all
I just said it's a job. You don't wake up every day happy to go to work. I don't hate it. I just do it for the money. It's a job.
I do lol I love my job
Good
I am glad you enjoy working under someone else I'll be out of this job in 2 years because I am not being a wage slave when in my 30s.
Yeah you sound overworked. I make my own schedule. You mentioned everyday if I had to wake up EVERYDAY seeing the same people, I'd be exhausted. My location changes a lot and I work just two days a week. Having your own business isn't any better tho lol. You'll be starting out working 24/7 for a few years.
Yes, no taxes
I get zero
Both combined
Nothing far
With clients absolutely
I love it
I'll work at it unless I can't or die but that be all but the same thing
I have carefully curated my job to be exactly perfect for me.
The pay & benefits are good. Its more seasonal. I used to travel a fair amount but not so much now. I will most likely go back next spring.
Six, I’m a part-time worker and a high school student.
Yes, and more after my promotion!
It depends on the day and my mood
