When you get fired did your coworkers even missed you?

When I got fired or I would say my boss didn't even renew my contract. My boss talked to us me and another coworker that its the last day there on Dec 29 and I came back there to collect my last paycheck and my coworkers said they missed me and that my boss shouldn't even fire us that he should maybe give us warning first before firing. And that Ogie (gay coworker) another was really said that he won't ever see me again I hugged some of them and some of them looked really sad.

My position was eliminated a few years back and I was fired. A few of my coworkers called me at home to let me know that they knew I got a raw deal. I know that the techs that worked for me all missed me.

In past jobs, I met past coworkers in future situations. Usually I treated them well.
Some flat out ignored me.
Others reflected merrily on the old job and pros cons.
I've had many.

@NicholasRedone Yeah. Or worse.. like the time (in my 20s) I used my van to help a new co-worker (on a new job) move into a new apartment. Worked with him for over a year and seemed to get along fine. He said I could use him as a reference at a new job & he tried to backstab me by never talking to the new job. I got hired anyhow and the new manager was: don't ever use that guy for a reference again.
