Inheriting is the easiest way then second probably starting your own business and becoming super successful and third investing. But I think investing alone is difficult because you need something to kickstart your investments. If you put in a few hundred here and there that won't get you to a billion. So you either need to inherit or have your own business first and then invest later when you have a lot of money already.
