I think that keeping your head down and listening is always a good way to start a new job. If your nervousness gets to the point where it seems to be interfering with you job requirements, MDs. often Rx low dose blood pressure medication. Certain types of BP meds are good for blocking adrenaline and are often used by professional golfers, orchestra musicians etc to keep their fine motor skills intact rather than shaking a little which is a common occurrence with that type of anxiety. Inderal ( generic propranalol) is most commonly used. This allows you to chill a little w/o the danger of benzos or alcohol

Good luck with your new job!
I recommend that you take full advantage of your first few weeks. During this honeymoon period, people are more inclined to take the time to show and teach you what you need to succeed. If you can, get a mentor who has the experience in the company and is willing to be a go-to for you. The toughest time for me is when I think I’m doing well and I find out that I’ve missed something that a more experienced person would have caught. A good mentor can help you over those bumps.

Got it this morning. It's so cold that I haven't left the house in a week. My husband goes and comes back from work like Scott in the Antarctic. It's that cold that thos morning I refused to take off my pyjamas for sex, I just pulled my pyjamas down over butt and let him do me from behind under the covers while I lay on my side. 5 minutes later went back to sleep cuddling in the warmth.

Take a deep breath first of all. Everyone is new at a job at some point. The fact you are nervous is a good thing... it means this job matters to you. Use that energy positively to do the best job you can. Stress can focus you if you let it.

Thank you. That's really great advice.

You will make mistakes for sure... but everyone does. You learn a lot from mistakes. Just do not get stuck on a mistake... learn and keep moving forward. You will be a pro at the job in no time.

Thanks. I hope so.

Communicate, communicate, communicate. These new people, they won't know you, so you should take every opportunity to communicate thoroughly your level of competence. Don't make any assumptions on your part of their part. Explicitly state the parameters and expectations.

Good luck and above all don’t become too close to anyone until you test the waters. Some women can be very katty with pretty young smart women and I have a feeling you’re really pretty.

Yes.
