Isn’t this odd for my former boss to say?

It looks like they told the truth, as a manager I have to submit these forms as well. We have to enter the facts, and nothing else. My company has a section for comments and a box for eligible for rehire. Also, we have a drop down for menu for common things such as " accepted another job offer" How it affects you all depends on the state you live in, in terms of unemployment, if you were not being truthful. I would not read too much into this.
That’s not the reason though i’m working at a clinic
I got it, I was just stating probably more a formality.
thanks, appreciated
No matter why you left , the reasoning she put on the form is accurate , that's all you can ask for , thats what happened.
Legally I don’t have stay for 2 weeks you do know that right. I told her I wanted a break before my new job but hey it is what it is 😂. I did what i did but it wasn’t the reason.
Wanted to make it clear that you quit without giving two weeks notice because she was hoping you would be denied unemployment benefits (your boss’s company pays part of that)
LOL that’s so odd but it’s whatever I’m literally working at my God parents clinic soon. I don’t think you can even get it if you quit yourself anyway.
Yeah I’m not sure about that either. But good luck!
Thanks I want to start a clinic then i’ll be a hospital. So I know i’ll do well :)
That’s great! Hope you get your dream job when you’re ready.
It's not uncommon for situations like this to arise, especially if the work environment is not ideal. It's important to prioritize your well-being and career goals. If leaving earlier felt necessary, it may have been the right decision for you at the time. Transitioning to a role more aligned with your major and career aspirations seems beneficial. In the future, maintain professionalism, as you may encounter former colleagues again. Your peace and career satisfaction matter most.

Whatever. They are obligated to pay you for every day worked.
From your description, what they said is factually correct. Not odd at all.
I don't see what's so odd about it
