I got a 65% on a test for my accounting class and for some reason it made me feel discouraged because since it's my major I feel like I need to try to pass all the tests. Has anyone else failed a test for their major and what did you do to do better next time?

This has happened to me too many times. I always somehow bounced back except one time when a professor totally screwed me over. I went and talked to the dean about it / The dean told me that he did not get involved with student's arguments with professors over grades. I told the dean what he though a judge would say about this if I was to litigate this. The dean knew I was serious so he said he was going to talk to the professor. I was in my office for about an hour when the phone rings and it is the professor. He is all apologies and tells me he would give me an incomplete and I could take the course over again in the fall.
