If you have, how did it affect you?
Have you ever failed a class in college?
If you have, how did it affect you?
Yes, I "failed" two classes in college. One because I got screwed and registered to withdraw the course, but the worker there quit her job, and left behind all her cases, so when the deadline passed, they said "Oh, the new girl is getting to all the old withdrawals" and they said the deadline had passed, even though it wasn't my f*cking fault. They didn't care and tried to stick to the "rules are rules" response. It would almost be worth suing over, because I "failed" the course due to that instead of rightfully being withdrawn.
The other time was in a brief moment when I was in film school and I had this 5'3" little sh*t of a professor. The most smug, stereotypically looking liberal you'd have ever seen. Blonde goatee, tight skinny jeans, maroon turtleneck sweater, in his mid to late 20s still living with his mom... The guy literally told the class (accidentally) he liked failing students. "Too many students passed my course last semester..." All we did was watch movies, but then he would give these tests on stuff we never covered in class, from the "required reading" books we had to do on our own. That, along with other reasons, was why I dropped out of film school and I'm glad I did. I was so f*cking dumb to have even thought about wasting two semesters there.
I never experienced it but I know people that have and they felt like shit , knowing they were trying to achieve their goal to be let down by not being able to achieve , some of them gave up completely and some of them tried again , the reality of it it just effects their wallet on how much more money they have to spend to take that class again , to me
College is a joke and a money making scam , I feel
College should be paid through taxes like High school , but we live in a greedy world and it’s sad to see people that made it through college to end up with a dead beat job paying very high student loans , it’s a way this country grabs ya by the balls , why I think people should just do a trade instead of Getting some degree that really means shit these days , the only people that should be going to college and worth it to them is people
That have jobs lined up after completion. Because if you don’t you are pretty much fucked and taking a 50/50 chance of finding a decent job after
You complete
I failed a math class twice and an accounting class. My brain just cannot do much with numbers. Dyscalculia sucks.
I hope I won't I'm not trying to be murdered by my parents

i was going to fail this one course and it was the only thing i needed to graduate, but this course was super harder than the course i needed (but this course satisfied the requirement). i hope that made sense.
anyways, i ended up dropping the course and taking the opt out test for the original course and making the highest grade they had ever seen. i don't know how that is because it was an 82? i only studied the night before. sounds like the test is rigged if it's that hard.
so i technically didn't fail, but i got lucky
I didn't go to college. I went to a trade school instead. Right after high school I went to a auto mechanic school because I wanted to be a mechanic. I graduated from there and was a mechanic for 10 years. Then I got hurt and couldn't lean over the fender of a car for 8 hours anymore. I decided to get into another field of work. I went to an electrical training school. I graduated from there and have been an electrician for 25 years. I got my master electrician license and opened my business 10 years ago.
No but , i would think it would mess me up because im there in that moment to succeed not fail if you actually break down the time and the hours per year that you are actually in class learning it is very very little out of the whole year
My degree is in Business Management. I failed accounting 101 6 times and 102 5 times. Failed Economics 101 & 102 3 times each.
It made me more determined to pass each time I failed. I'm not mathematically minded. Management Strategy isn't that mathematical thankfully!
Good question, and to be honest... none.
I got my laurea at age 21 with a score of 108/110.
yeah, but I know sometime just don't suit exam way even if you really read. it is divided between theory and practice.
Of course I failed, I fail one cause the teacher found me arrogant indeed. but then i took all , i spend 2 semester in a row with 8 different clases in each one, and made up for the wasted time, indeed I went out "cum laude."
Yeah it was a math class and the professor had a very thick accent. I also hate math 😣
So far I’m doing good in studying and getting good marks
Yes, well I got a "D" in my university history course. I still got credit fortunately but I retook the course over the summer since I didn't want that to be the only grade showing up for said course.
I got a D in one of my classes required to get a Bachelor's. Probably only in America you can do that and still get my degree.
And I don't remember if I got a D or an F in Intermediate Algebra in community college, but I had to take it THREE times, and I even dropped out for a semester because of it.
Yes, several in fact, and it wasn't even my fault. But I dropped out because of it, and that was my fault.
No i haven't failed any, but wasn't spesifically good either.
Sure, everyone would fail math at some point, that stuff was brutal
Yeah I failed 4 different subjects over 2 years due to anxiety and depression issues. And I had little to no support.
So it actually made things worse for me.
By failing, I mean, not doing an exam. 👀
Not that I finished an exam and failed.
Yes, my Early Christianity class; but in my defense my father died that semester. Kind of blows the doors off the whole your roommate dies and you get straight A's trope from the 90s. As a roommate's death is surely less traumatic than a parent's.
I failed one class. For my major.
During senior year...
I nearly failed accounting 😅 I got a D but my school still accepted it as a passing grade 😅
Accounting? But that's just debit and credit
No! Usually you do better with grades in college , since you pick your own courses. Mostly High School the courses are picked for you.
My GPA in High School was like 2.86 and my GPA in College was 3.45. What is your GPA?
Now some of the courses I took in high school are honors courses and they were not when I took them. Now you get one grade up, like a C is considered a B.
I failed in many classes during my engineering degree
By classes I am guessing you mean subjects or courses in a semester
Yes failing college classes are not a big deal, but it could be more expensive.☯️
No inhavent i was grinding hard i wanted to get in and get out no wasted motion
I've failed a lot of exams, actually I'm failing in almost every exams 😂
Yeah I have. It hurt my gpa that’s for sure
Yes and no. Very upset.
Thanks queen!
They did something I was neither pass nor fail.
I haven’t. I just dropped it before I failed it
College can be stressful
Almost algebra i got a C
Nope
Didn't go
