Does it annoy you if someone pronounces your name incorrectly?

I am referring to those people who have a name that difficult to pronounce unless you come from the same country of that name because you don't know the language or how that name should be pronounced correctly.

I don't mind it but my names are fairly easy to pronounce... Jonathan Santiagomy surnames (or last names) are tricky, so a lot of people get it wrong quite often (mostly the spelling) so I am quite used to it, does not really bother me

what bothers me... is documentation and when government agencies just can't get it right

My names easy to pronounce 'Ceri' and people rarely if ever get it wrong. But when it comes to spelling it they'll often put it down as Kerry because it's pronounced the same. Then you can't find your name on the system and I'm forced to give them a telling off.

It annoys me when people refuse even to try and I've stopped making it easier for them. I will pronounce my name correctly when introducing myself now (I stopped that for the longest of time) and refuse to make it easier unless people have a least made a effort to try.

Nope. I sympathize with them. My name is easy to screw up. People have been screwing up my name my entire life. If they get close I don't even try to correct them unless it has something to do with legal documents like a license, passport, contracts, etc.

No, im used to it. My name is weird and 90% of people butcher the pronunciation, so I just accept it. Many call me hannah instead of my actual name, and I just treat it like my secret identity name haha.
