Truth? If a student wrote truth should you mark it wrong?

For example: a history test "who was the first president?" Student wrote "Trump was president first before biden". Mark wrong? Or can't because wrote true?

Or more vague answer: what is the square root of 16? Student wrote "math book has a number 8" it is true, so should i mark it right? It was not false? But was it still wrong?
