I saw a lot of people run when things got hard. A few people stay and make the company work.

My rule is when I no longer enjoy going to work, it's time to leave. Being tough and hard is not a reason to leave. When it's a poisonous boss, backstabbing, bad energy, or you are just burnt out with it... etc.. that's different story.
