Gossiping, lying, withholding of training info, bullying, sexual harassment, gaslighting are all present here... I am fed up. I want to quit immediately.
I feel you man, that job sounds like a total nightmare. No one should have to put up with that kind of toxic environment.
Having said that, walking out without notice could potentially burn some bridges and look bad on future resumes/references. But your mental health and safety have to come first.
A few suggestions - could you maybe give a shorter notice, like a week, to wrap things up professionally? Or negotiate leaving on good terms if they agree not to contest unemployment?
You might also ask potential references if they'd still recommend you explaining why you felt you needed to leave ASAP for your well-being.
And don't sweat it too much - future employers see workplace problems all the time. If asked, be honest but polite about the issues. They'll likely respect that you removed yourself from a bad situation.
Ultimately do what feels right for you. Don't stick around somewhere truly toxic. Just cover your bases as best you can. You'll land on your feet - just focus on taking care of yourself right now, dude!
