Almost everyday is like that for me unfortunately.

I’ve had lots of those days LOL but I’m currently cross training in another department, and while the work way more physical, the atmosphere and people way better than the shit lazy people in my department… sometimes have to ride it out and it gets better, but if it stays bad all the time, sometimes a change might be necessary… being stressed all the time isn’t healthy for anyone and your health more important than ANY job… jobs can be replaced, your life cannot.. Hope your work situation gets better🤗
Yes. Almost everyday I hate that place, people and environment, I just hate it, the only reason I'm there so I could keep a roof over my head, its so stressful that you would expect that in this generation there would be fairness but slavery still exist.
When I had days like that I did quit. No reason not too. Before I finished college and started full time work. I would just walk out and have a new job by the end of the day. I actually quit this way from 12 or so jobs. They aren't going to give you a notice why should you. Something that actually makes my lab odd. I do give employees a notice. It is in the their contract. Both parties are required to provide x notice. X being decided by the owner/manager (me) and the staff in question. I haven't had to fire anyone in over a decade. And I have only had 2 quits. 1 was a moving across the country to be closer to elderly parents and the other was an older tech who was retiring. Gave him a fair bonus (his years on site with 4 zeros. He had been there for 26 years so $260,000) and wished him well. He still does consultation for me at times for a generous sum of course.
Was at work and got a call that my ex was cheating on me with another guy and was at his house with my four year old. So I go to the guy's house and there is the car I bought her. I walk through his back door and into his house and there is my kid in his front room abandoned in a shitty disper behind a kid gate. I walk up the stairs and the bedroom door is open a crack and she is riding him. So I take a few quick pics and they don't notice me go back downstairs and lift my son and take him to my parents place.
She calls me in a panic an hour later and I don't answer, she calls the cops and her parents and has to explain what she was doing and where she was when she lost our son.
I quit that day.
I made an error at work that was detrimental to the business and I had a series of bullies mistreating me after cause they thought I did it on purpose to get laid off so I could collect money without working for a living. I did not like the social environment once the bullying started but I got laid off in under a week cause Covid 2020 had reduced our sales margin and I was one of the newer staff there.
Yeah but then I remember why.
I want to buy my partner things he wants but refuses to buy for himself. I want to spoil him.
I want to spoil my 3 niblets [neice and nephews] and get them whatever they ask for, even if their dad's [my brothers] get mad at me
Yes. But that's why I worked so hard to become financially secure. Because now I work by choice. I don't need a job to survive anymore. So if ever the b. s. gets to be too much b. s. I can say, "you know, I'm done. Have a nice day"🙂 and you can tolerate more nonsense when you realize you don't have to if you don't want to. You resent stupidity less.
It happens. Some days can just be hell. Makes me wonder why I do the job I do. But these feeling pass. They are momentary.
I worked at a charity shop a few years back and had to quit because my boss wasn't telling me what to do
It’s usually a string of days and an obvious culture that things aren’t going to improve. Then yeah, i quit. Ell oh ell!
no...
if I had that mentality, I wouldn't have gotten myself into businessI quit two jobs. One on the day I started. One months in. Those were some hell jobs. Another one I quit weeks in (back issues).
I think most people have that...
In my old job I used to have one just about every week. I finally did quit.
Often - usually while working on an overseas contract, But the financial rewards usually makes up for having to deal with the ding-bats!
Occasionally. I’ve always resisted the urge, and it eventually got better. Sometimes it had to take someone else leaving, but it did get better…
No, I stay cool under pressure.
No, except I think management really wants to replace us by machines.
Oh yes. Too many. That's why I'm making a career change.
