From software developer to pizza delivery driver, is this a new low?

I am a software developer with nearly 4 years of professional experience at various companies. I have worked on projects for multi-billion-dollar companies and some big names. Sadly, as it stands today, I am having to resort to delivering pizzas to stay afloat. I only own 2 real assets, a car and an old RV, but with my bills I must look into earning some extra money and fast.

Some more context: I have been unemployed for a year now. I am currently collecting disability right now. After some failed work attempts, I am unable to regain my footing in the tech industry. I am having to resort to delivering pizzas to stay afloat, as I am drowning.

An update: after speaking to a manager, it would require the use of my own vehicle with wear and tear. In addition, the base rate is only $8 an hour, far lower than their advertised rate (the advertised rate was possible with tips on a good night). I am declining this one. I will apply for other entry level jobs like security officer or something.
