I don't think I am because I'm still in the seed stage, so I haven't made any money nor received funding yet. I also have very little experience in retail and warehousing, while no experience in food services and hospitality. If companies fear I'll leave, then they shouldn't be as long as they don't treat me like shit and allow me to switch from full-time to part-time (or just part-time only). The only jobs I guess I'd be overqualified in would be anything management or executive related, but otherwise I think I'm fine. I sadly can't work in tech anymore despite that's what I took in college, since it'd either make me overqualified and/or conflict of interest.

Ok had a call with a job advisor at the local employment center, and he told me that I should tailor my resume for the jobs I'm applying to, but he never stated whether or not to omit my startup experience so I don't know if I'm overqualified

Those type of jobs have a high turnover rate. Sure, managers don't want to hire someone they think will leave in a week. So don't tell them about your degree.

I don't understand this. Why can't you work in tech? You have a degree, so use your degree.
You say you have a startup. Unless your startup pays the bills, then take whatever job does pay the bills. A big mistake people make when going into business is not having enough income or saved money to survive until the business starts paying.
What conflict of interest? Unless there is something you didn't say, I don't see any conflict of interest. If you are qualified for a better job than working retail or whatever, then do it. Get some income and experience. It's also a good backup in case your startup doesn't go anywhere.
Does your startup pay you a salary? If not, it's a sideline and you need a real job to pay your bills. Startups can go a couple of ways. Either someone works in their garage on the side for a few years until they have a marketable product, or they hit the ground running with millions of investment capital.
Nobody said you couldn't work in tech except yourself
Ok I mean I can't work in tech that involves AI or executive/admin roles.
I took computer programming in college and have a diploma, so sadly many tech jobs I don't qualify for since I lack a bachelor's degree in computer science. A lot of IT jobs require experience and/or graduate degrees which seems ridiculous to me. And obviously everyone that knows what's going on is aware of the massive layoffs since 2022, so I wouldn't be able to pursue a "normal" job in tech anytime soon.
There are obviously a lot of freelance jobs I can take, but they don't exactly pay the bills and I can't compete with people from third world countries on Fiverr
