What career field has the best and brightest people?

I would say computer technology jobs.

Cause I have 3 people in my family who work in that field, and they are all either very rich or very smart or both smart and rich.

One guy founded a business with 5000 employees in Beijing and is the CEO of his self made business.

Another guy went to Tsinghua which is 500 times more difficult to get into than Harvard but is less famous cause it is located in China.

The third guy took me and my parents to a five star restaurant in Beijing when we vacationed there and he talks two to three times faster than the average person so you can tell immediately that he is very intelligent. I was shocked by how smart he was when I first met him. He is married to my cousin and they have two kids now.

CEO is not a career field. I'm a software developer in a FAANG company and my colleagues are quite bright and generally very nice.

CEO is a title. I can attest to the fact that there are some incredibly stupid damaged people with the title of CEO. I'm reeducating one currently. The prospects for success are low, LOL.

The brightest people can show up almost anywhere in my experience. It depends on their interests and talents and the opportunities they encounter.

Nothing to do with CEOs but to illustrate what im talking about is that there are quite a few NFL & NBA players that are highly educated and very intelligent that choose to pursue a career as an athlete simply because they will make $50 million minimum for 10 years of competition vs working their whole life until 70 for maybe $2 million.
