Yes, when writing checks and writing notes to myself. I also do stylized cursive when writing on Christmas, birthday and anniversary cards to my wife.

It came in really handy when taking notes in college. But it was so illegible that I would have to transcribe the notes into notebooks when I came home and the information was still fresh in my mind.

Cursive is the fastest way to write.

Before I entered first grade, I knew how to print the ABCs. I had seen cursive writing and tried to figure out how to write cursive like grown ups by connecting the letters together.
Then we started learning cursive in second grade.

When I started a corporate job in 1980 when I was 26, I had to hand write documentation on my daily assignments. I had to print those in caps so that they would be clearly legible.

I have no idea what cursive is. In my day, we either had printing or writing.
Printing is using basic block lettering, like what you see here, now. Writing was the fancy stuff that most people use to sign their name or an autograph.
This version of the logo is printing.

This version is writing.

I do and I'm really good at it but I prefer to avoid writing in cursive because I feel most people won't understand what I wrote 😅

Yeah, it got hammered into us in primary school and then at least encouraged in middle school. Even though a teacher commented that I wrote like a doctor, you don't forget the basics.
