Do you think I should try to join some type of centre or school to socialize if I do my job in total isolation?

I stopped going to church because my career was a long term investment without immediate income payout and I did not want to tell people at church about my very low income, since it would sound like I was unemployed.

I used to go to community centres and social activity centres, and I found making friends was difficult because most of these people viewed me as an upper class villain that they were jealous of or did not view as one of their own people.

The only time I ever had an easy time building connections was when I was in some sort of elite academic environment such as an academic training centre for higher learning, a social etiquette training centre for busy professionals, or a cultural training centre for highly paid professionals that explore different liberal and practical cultural arts.
