I'm tired of being in dead end jobs and dont like interactions or being front of house. I do not have a uni degree.
I live in an expensive city with family, but I want to move out of my family home and go to a more less expensive city. I understand I still need to be earning a decent amount.

Here are some career options in the UK that don't require much interaction and pay decently without a degree:
- Warehouse/Logistics Worker - Lots of jobs in distribution centers doing packing, receiving, inventory, operating forklifts etc. Can pay £18-22k starting in less expensive cities.
- CNC Machinist - Operate computer controlled machines to make metal parts. May require a City & Guilds certification which is only a year. Starting pay around £20k.
- Gas/Electricity Meter Reader - Go around reading meters, mostly work independently. £18k-22k range.
- Software/Web Tester - Test websites, apps, games for bugs without dealing with customers. Many remote jobs available too. £18k-25k depending on experience.
- Draughtsman - Draw technical drawings and plans using CAD software. Public works departments, engineering firms, etc. £20k-27k.
- HGV/LGV Driver - Drive trucks & vans to transport goods. In demand field with starting pay at £22k-30k depending on vehicle size.
- Water/Sewer Plant Operator - Monitor equipment at water/sewer treatment plants. Shift work but not much interaction needed. £20k-28k range.
Any of those could get you out of your parents' place in a lower cost city with a livable wage. Research the certification/training needs though as some may require a few months of studying. But no uni needed for a change of scenery and decent pay.
